homophone
print series | 2025
homophones is a series of fourteen original prints, each printed on 11” x 14” Arches 88 paper. each is a depiction of a body, or of many, in some form. None are meant to be “flattering” and they are meant to resist characterization as a normal or easily identifiable body. they sound like “body” but are slightly off—either in their close-ups, cutouts, or mismatches. Each is a body warped, stretched, dissected, or reduced to lines and (mis)shapes.
These prints are made using pochoir, chine colle, linocut, monoprinting, and woodcut printing methods. They are each unique and imperfect, as bodies tend to be.
